Whats with the weird lug bolts?
Whats the deal with the washer/spacer piece on oem lug bolts? Anyone know where to get longer versions? Anyone used "standard" H&R springs mercedes ball parts instead?

I agree, the stock lugs have a strange spacer, making them a 2 piece lug bolt. It's essentially a washer. When I got my new HRE wheels they sent me new lug bolts that were one piece.

I am. In the end I just went with H&R single piece parts. They work fine. Have thought about powdercoating the heads or something, but just painted them black.

The price is amazing and they do do custom lengths for a higher fee. I got longer titanium lug bolts made for my Porsche 911 and they have worked perfectly. No issues whatsoever and no corrosion problems either like with the steel lug bolts.

Yes I notice a difference, it lightens up your rotational mass so it's the same effect as running lighter wheels or light Ceramic rotors. Also, I notice the wheels run more true, feel more balanced after installing the Acer Racing titanium lug bolts. It's a significant weight savings if you have ever held a standard steel bolt. And decreasing weight that rotates has from what I have read about 8X the effect of decreasing stationary mass. In any case it is a small price to pay for something that is so lightweight, beautiful and well made.

I'm wondering how that can be since they are as close to the centerline of the rotational mass aka wheels/tires as you can get..
I think you are talking unsprung weight not rotational mass..and even then I highly doubt you can feel anything.

So you are saying you can feel the difference in rotational mass by replacing your lug bolts ?

Years ago I replaced every piece of hardware on my lake racing snowmobile with titanium, and some of the bolts broke for unexplained reasons ,there is no way I would ever use titanium for my lug bolts ,
this was my own experience and my opinion only, you guys decide for yourself, but I’m pretty sure NO cars come Stock with Ti Wheel fastners.

What is the bolt size/thread of the GTS lug bolts? I'm looking to buy wheel hanger studs to help wheel removal/installation. These should help minimize my brake calipers and wheels getting banged up during the process.
Edit:
I believe the wheel studs are M14x1.5.
So I'll be ordering these:
