If you're wondering how issue with my CLS63 relates to the AMG GTR thread, let me spell it out for you: because I was very interested in purchasing one and I'd like to gather data AND COMMENT (God forbid).

I am also very interested in hearing feedback from current GTS owners as I am going from a CLS63 who has pretty much been bullet proof to a GT.
My current opinion is that the minor issues (rattles, noises, exhaust) are being sorted out and should hopefully be resolved with MY2017.
The oil issue seems to be un exception to the rule and the transmission recall also applies to only a few hundred cars.
Overall it sounds normal for a new product launch.

Mercedes won't resolve any issues in 2017. They clearly don't give a crap about their reputation. Customer service is like: all AMG cars burn oil! German engineering my ***. How brilliant or efficient is an engine that burns a quart of oil per 3 fill ups as part of its combustion cycle?
The best or nothing? The best cars don't burn ****ing oil!
I can drive a ford like a maniac and the thing runs for 100k miles without issue. This turd mobile has a new problem every 500 miles.

The grill of the GTR had a historical connection to the 1952 MB SLR.
I think it looks very clear ol.
