I can't put my finger on it but the sound system in the GT s just doesn't sound right for me. I also noticed that the sound quality through blue tooth and xm radio seems diluted. Anyone found settings they like w the equalizer/surround configurations?

there's a "boost" on/off option. make sure it's turned on.

also, the eq settings are specific for each source. if you adjust it on fm radio, it only affects the fm radio. you'll have to change bt audio, satellite, etc. separately.

It's my understanding that plugging phone or player into USB in glovebox achieves much greater sound. Vic was saying something about burning a cd that way as well. Not sure.

Also consider your source.

Do you have the upgraded burmeister system? It's a 4500 option, but the sound quality is amazing.

where is the boost button? Mine only has an equalizer , balance and surround option. Maybe I am missing it.

no upgraded sound system , it's still a burmeister sound system but not the upgraded one. Would think this car would come w pretty decent stereo even though he cabin is small.
