From what I hear only 100 cars are being released for the US market but not sure how true that is. Also not sure if they will produce any more but the word is that is the number for now. All cars are accounted for currently. MSRP is estimated at 160k plus options.....
My option codes are :
Paint 992 Selenite Gray
Wheels RXC
Seats 651 with yellow itching
Trim H77 carbon fiber matte
993 lane tracking
318 exclusive interior
317pkg convenience pkg
773pkg carbon fiber splitter, fins in fender, side skirt and rear diffuser
B28 carbon fiber mirrors and rear wing
C52 car cover
U25 illuminated door sill
5u9 carbon fiber matte cross bar
810 burmster
Yo6 yellow seat belts
L6g
B07 ceramic brakes
On the side note I'm thinking about selling my 2010 c63 with only 10k miles on it .. the head bolts along with the SLS black Series buckets are installed .. see below signature for some of the list of mods ...

My dealer just contacted me today requesting my options to spec out the car. Getting one of the first three cars the dealer receives. Anyone have the options list for the GTR handy?

Vin! Ha. Going to be spectacular JSWAN. If you squint at the silver car you can see the white and with Carbon fiber great choice.
Only thing is the belts. Not sure I like silver or red, but you have silver stitching so I would go silver or black on belts.
Looking forward to watching the build progress. Congrats

AMG GTR (sadly now sold)+991.2 GT3 RS+GT3 Touring+991 GTS+997 GT3 RS+996 GT3 RS+964 RS+Mini Cooper S
I'm not. Such a waste of money. No real performance advantage even on track. Indeed most track junkies ditch carbon brakes and go with iron brake. And around town, they can even be a disadvantage. The only two benefits are clean wheels (no dust) and less unsprung weight.

With no prior relationship and no hassle, I walked into my local dealer on Monday and placed a deposit for one of their forthcoming allocations (they'll have 6). If there were only 100, I highly doubt I could've done that since the GTR was announced months ago.
This is a corporate dealer, not a franchise, so there are no shenanigans. I'm going to receive an allocation. It's just a question of when.
With only 100, there would almost certainly be a markup. If it was only 100, MB would've announced that in their press release to hype up demand.
I was also told the MSRP is expected to start at $200K which I thought was a bit high but whatever.

I'll just say this about the volume of GTR in first year. There is a real shortage of a lot of parts on the GTs, as evidenced by cars brought in for service. The GTR is going to have a lot of engineered carbon fiber on its active aero, etc, that will not be easy to mass produce.
That being said, i remember Musk remarking about his lack of production on his early model S. He said you could have 99.5% of the parts and you still have no car. As such, I see first year GTRs being limited in this respect.

having looked in the Mercedes order site, that's where my dealer had seen the number, in fact all cars had been assigned. Most dealers are marking them up. I heard over 300 GTR's total are being made but right now only 100 GTR's will be in the us .. if you can jump on that deal as I've been offered a nice change for my spot form another waiting customer ...

Many thanks for you guys guidance and insight.
Yea, I'm interested in trying the carbon brakes but I'm usually using the other pedal more.
I still think manufacturing will start mid to late April and the GTR's will start showing up in the Brunswick, GA port in mid May......we'll see.
The latest guesstimates have the US MSRP at $170k plus add on's so you guys may just be right with the "close to $200k" number.
