Hey Larry,

I did the install and dyno before and after and saw no improvement. Let us know your results.

Good luck

Filters Like weistec I installed have width which is about half the size as OEM. I would argue that this is not about any HP gains, but that it effectively doubles the amount of air available in the air box and that is noticeable in deep throttle response.

These are stock filters from GT (fat) and a CL63 I used to own. The weistec are similar in width as the UPD pictured.

Not sure about these being oiled. I know BMC Makes pair as well.

Yeah, I think the spacers also help contribute to raising the filters up... providing increased air flow into.

Is there any measurable increase in power with these filters?

not that you would ever notice maybe a few HP. This mod along with secondary res or cat delete made exhaust a little nastier. Ha.

whats the difference between just the filters and the cold boost kit? just the spacers? if so, do they truly warrant the $200+ increase?

The CABK add more volume to the air box.
If you are running stock turbos and downpipe you will only need filters.
Thank you

I run the spacer and filter in all my AMGs, and love them.
