Mercedes AMG GTR production begins
I do not see anyone sharing this news so here we go:
http://www.motor1.com/news/137881/me...uction-begins/
It still says the GTR maybe limited to 2000 units, something my dealer did not confirm. Also, they are claiming RXC wheels are no longer available and have been taken out. Anyone else is able to verify this?

There is definitely some issue with RXC wheels, people in Europe I know who were late to spec have been told that the RXC wheels may delay their build and have been advised to choose RXB instead. Having said that I questioned MB headoffice here directly and they confirmed that my car would have RXC wheels.

My understanding is that there is no hard limit but 2000 is the likely number to be made given the production run time and capacity to build.

I have speced the RXC wheels and, as of today, I have not been notified of any delay to my August delivery. And they are still on the configuration tool.

In Sydney. Only thing I can't decide is the colour. Magnetite Black Metallic or Non metallic black. Magnetite had a bit of a grey tinge which I'm not too sure on but non metallic is going to show up too many imperfections I think.
