It’s going to depend on when your car showed up at the VPC (FIFO) and whether there is a slot open on a carrier headed your way.

It won’t be too long though They want them out of there as much as you want your new ride.

761hp with all that other stuff though. No big deal. Same engine as the other cars. Other post made it seem like it was just a tune. But makes sense when you consider it's new turbos, exhaust, filters, ECU flash, etc. Wish I could do all that but I live in California. And people here have outlawed fun and joy.

Don't the boats that transport These vehicle carry more than 300 or 400 vehicles at a time?

So technically wouldn't all these vehicles leave at the same time and arrive sort of at the same time?

Do they all arrive in Halifax first or is that just a Canadian hub?

I'm just frustrated. I've had this car on order since January of 2016, and I can't get a straight answer out of anybody.

If you are in Canada then you would be in the same boat as me, first it was supposed to be released in Sept due to stickers issue that they were waiting for so they can replace the existing EPA stickers, now it’s a flash issue and the dealer said the earliest it would arrive is in Nov or Dec, maybe longer and maybe never!

I am in Canada, and was told the same thing today from my dealer... November at the earliest... Going to need snow tires just to get it home....
Car was built in May, delayed in Germany because of Carbon parts being back ordered and now has been sitting in Halifax since August.

Yup, first I was told it was Sept then October and now Nov or Dec, and maybe never! Who knows.

What do you mean by “maybe never”. The cars were built for Canada and are on Canadian soil. Our emissions standards are similar enough to the US that there’s no reason the cars won’t eventually be certified and released.

There is always a possibility that’s why I said maybe, it happened before it could happen again, just because it’s certified in the US it doesn’t mean it will or has be certified in Canada.

My question is, if the cars here in the USA didn't meet EPA standards or whatever, and I've hear that all the cars needed an ECU re-flash to conform... does that mean the cars were all de-tuned and are going to make less power?

Also there is another Benz model also sitting in Canadian soil I forgot which one and it’s been there since last year and still not yet certified.

My GTR arrived on Monday at Baltimore and should be at my dealer by Monday at the latest. Dealer is in PA.

Don’t get your hopes up.

There are lots of GTR’s and GTC’s that have been waiting for 6 months that will be leaving the Baltimore VPC first (FIFO). My honest estimate would be by 11/1 or later.
