Is Solarbeam Yellow Glossy?
I've seen this color and find it captivating with the form of the car. It seems to be a chameleon . Sometimes yellow, sometimes gold, sometimes glossy and sometimes matte.
What do you think? Will the color hide swirls better than black?
Am I gonna regret this color in two years?

I notice other people being aware that it's called "Solar Beam" and not just "Yellow", maybe that's a sign that it's a well received choice.

I live on Long Island , NY. EVERYONE owns a MB. They are all Selenite Gray, silver, white or Black. I wanted something to stick out.
I also didn't want a Porsche since everyone has one of those too.
i figured the Solarbeam Yellow AMG would be different.
Does carbon fiber look look better with this than the Night Package?

It is glossy & a fantastic looking paint in person, and exclusive to AMG only models I think.
it is expensive, but I would rather pay the same premium for this paint than the fugly (IMHO) matte green, the hell with green hell .......

I'm not a fan of matte paints. They show off the cars lines but also show finger and hand prints.
Much harder to keep looking good.
I prefer glossy metallic paints

Yes carbon fiber looks better than the Night Package on Solar.

I thought the solar looked great with any package but the Carbon raises it to the next level. So did you end up ordering the solarbeam or stick with your original selenite gray?

Remember to PPF the carbon, it can turn a little green after too much exposure to the sun.

The car looks fantastic in Solar Beam yellow. However it also looks good in all the other colours If I was speccing a new one now it would be yellow, blue or maybe red. Yellow is very in-your-face... You will certainly get noticed.

Red could work though
