Take it to the dealership?

It's like most other cars, but you need to have it fully warmed up, at 100C, so the thermostats are open for the oil coolers and you get most of the oil out. Also let it idle in C mode for at least 30 seconds before you shut it down to drain the oil. The drain is on the bottom of the tank on the left side. Filter is also on the bottom on the 177/178 engine, unlike every other benz engine.

I generally make an appointment at the dealer. I drink coffee, eat a free bagel, read the paper and its done. No fuss, no mess

I don’t know the official answer to that, but there is only a very small volume of oil in those lines so when mixed with fresh oil, the % of contamination would be extremely small. Far more likely to cause a potential issue by undoing the turbo oil lines to drain them I’d think.

I guess you know dealers dont drain oil anymore. They evacuate it from the oil dip stick tube. Thats why they never replace drain plug or orings or take the pans off.

Unlike the SLS, the GTS doesn't call for line removal, just draining from the drain plugs.

There is no dipstick to extract from the top so it is actually drained.
