Hello, yes the vehicle is tuned the same way by pulling the computer and shipping it to our Main office in Houston.

The tune on the GTR is 65hp 87trq!

Talking

Believe these tunes are not so much about peak HP, but 3-5 rpm throttle response....and rear tire life

The small increase for the GTR is not worth sacrificing your warranty. Just my opinion of course.

I agree, but was hoping they would have some real world numbers/graphs on the GTR. I wonder if any of the guys overseas have done it.

That would be nice then you’ll have some true info before making a decision.

2016 AMG GTS
Seems to me this is a mod to consider once out of warranty. Once the car has more miles and is a few more model years old there would be less reason to maintain the originality of the car in hopes of preserving value. I would assume the aftermarket will continue to improve it's offerings to try to keep these cars competitive with the new models. Please don't see this as a hijack to get into predicting resale/residual value but I do think there is a high ceiling on this platform.

I wouldn’t be concerned about warranty issues as long as your tight with your Service advisor. These relatively small gains on GTR couldn’t be attributed solely as the source of any mechanical breakdown, as the law in US requires that they prove that nexus.

WTBS, I would still bet the tune would really wake up the Car. On a CL63 I had, the gains were only 35 hp and torque but Car was so much more responsive. I’m surprised Eurocharged hasn’t posted formal results.

How many guys will actually still own their GTRs on the other side of their factory warranty?
