ON OFF / ENGINE START Button

ON OFF / ENGINE START Button
Canada
Most of the rest of the world
For whatever reason, Canadian AMG GT's have a start / stop button with no wording on it, and simply two half circle diagrams (see attachments). We own a GLE as well, and this is not the case on it, so not sure if this is limited to the AMG GT. Does anyone know if it is possible to have the individual button changed, or is. it part of the larger console where the cost to do so just wouldn't make sense?

Maybe they do not want to manufacture more than 2 versions of the button, one with English , the other with French (or other less common languages), for a low volume car like the GT ? Just guessing LOL .....

Never thought about that, but I bet you're right....the French language police strikes again.

Question for those who have an '18 GT (any version)... Does the car come with a memory for driving configuration the next time you start the car? Or does it default back to a standard setting?
I'm mostly curious if I will need to push the ECO start/stop to disengage it every time I start the car. BMW's seem to have that memory, and I'm curious if AMG has adopted it. Not a big deal, just more of a nuisance.
