Vic, the new M5 looks, and sounds from your review, simply awesome. As you know and like yourself, I’ve owned every iteration of the M5 since my 2001 E39 and loved them all. If I get tired of the GT R soon, an M5 will be at the top of my list to test drive as you simply can’t beat a “Q’ car! lol
God knows how I missed your review and purchase over on the M5 forum. lol

Macan S. Needed something that was sporty but could haul cargo if needed and maybe a kid in the future. I drove several SUVs but it took the cake, the handling is better than most cars I've driven.

Got this a few weeks ago
Porsche TT V8. Exhaust growls are spectacular.
The PDCC suspension was worth the wait. Car handles like a big go cart in sport plus.
Recently took it down to Hilton head, and the car just ate up highway miles.

Both the GTS and a Giulia Quadrifoglio.
I can't do luxury cars. I like to drive like an A-hole.

Really?? Please elaborate as thats a pretty bold statement based on the performance numbers the W213 put ups in the straights and on the track (beats the Panny Turbo).
And your car is not a Turbo right?

Turbo is a a different animal as well, as I had a 4s for a few days and it was solid but not in same league. The problem with this car is that you have to have the turbo and all the right options and it gets into stupid money, fortunately I had a huge discount but it’s still overpriced. Car starts at 85k and goes to the moon.
And it doesn’t beat you up in comfort mode. Porsche has superior damping

Turbo here. So I drove E63s at COTA for a few laps and car was floating through all corners, but in straights was strong. This PDCC system on this car makes it shrink in corners as it has vectoring and active antiroll bars.

Normally, E63S beats the Panamera Turbo on every track, slow or fast regardless.

I know all about those depreciating machines, there are some smoking deals to be had as Porsche missed the price point on the Turbo and definitely on the Turbo S. Congrats on the car; I saw one the other day and really had to admire how they fixed the rear end.
And as an owner Ill agree here too, my E63S was the most level and flat driving car sedan Ive had and thats with the new Air Body Control. But to its detriment, it was like a sled on wheels with zero comfort.

Calling the E63s "floating" is a first. That thing is just the opposite.
Congrats on the Panamera though!
They have fixed the humpback of the first gen. and gave it a really great design makeover. Very competent car and well build car; I just missed some sensory drama at any price.

Maybe because I drove it after a GTR just did not like the ride or styling on that E.
Panny sounds almost exotic and in sport plus car really wakes up. Need to get that secondary cat removed to get more of that same note.
Yes Vic, I really wouldn’t have thought of the car until one day when I pulled up next to one at a light and it was remarkable the difference between the old hump back. The engineers also went through the new model and replaced or revised every failing component of the old generation.

Yes it is VIc, but the GTS has gotten so expensive you might as well go ahead and get the turbo that has more standard options that you probably want.
Still having a hard time finding a tuner. I hope tune comes out like the GT with the OBD option. The Lambo Urus has the tuned version and it’s a monster.

Thanks, yeah I checked Cobb and they dont have crap for it. GIAC might but who knows. I really like the Urus too but obviously running a different DME than Porsche. I heard the latest Porsche DME's are tough to break in regards to OBDII tuning; bench flashes are only available.
