AMG GTC EDITION 50
Hey Guys new to the forum board. Just picked up my first AMG. I was on the fence between The GTC and the GTR. Dealerships were asking to much over sticker for the GTR so I decided to get The AMG GTC Edition 50. 1 out of 500 made. I am in love with this car. What are your guys thoughts on putting a fixed spoiler on? Any recommendations on where to buy one from? Also I am looking for a recommendation for a clear bra installation.

Congrats!
RE: Fixed spoiler
You might run into problems with that. I've read on here that removing the active spoiler and installing a fixed one causes the car to go into limp mode because it sees the spoiler is missing (the motor or something isn't plugged in). I think a company out there solved this on their own builds of the car, but the "mod" or "fix" isn't available publicly. Or something to that effect. I'm sure someone else has more details.

Just found out that mine arrived at the Long Beach port last Friday! I'm hoping one to two weeks of paperwork and travel time up to Seattle - but your pics will keep me satisfied till mine arrives. Congratulations!

I honestly did not even think I had a chance at getting an edition 50. I was contemplating on getting a GTC convertible In these selenite grey Magno. So glad that I got this. Very hard to come by. And the coupe is just so much sportier than the soft top convertible. Only thing I wish it had was a fixed-wing

Congrats!!! I have the same car in Toronto, and absolutely love it. It was weird buying a new car and not being able to choose any options, but they equipped them quite generously for Canada - almost everything was included except for the Dynamic Plus package, which annoyed me at first, but given that it will be a mostly road car, I think I now prefer it this way as Comfort suspension is still quite comfortable on ****ty roads.
Personally, I prefer the no wing look given the low. wide back end, but no wing is a personal preference I have with most cars.
Enjoy

After daily driving a GT3, I'll never own a winged car again because of the rear-view obstruction. So refreshing to look in the rear-view mirror and experience a clean line of sight.

My Huracan was even worse, the Carbon Fiber engine bay reflected off the rear engine glass in the sun and it was like looking through a Kaleidoscope. Couldn't see sh-t.

AT Texex91. When you live in Los Angeles and you are getting a limited edition car which is 1 out of 500. 10k over sticker is not bad at all. Considering also that I have one of the very few GTC Coupes in that nation as well. You probably live in a but fck state where the dealers are begging to get rid of cars. Any ways if you got the money it is not no big deal.

There are loads of new GT3 drivers paying ADMs to get the car that they want. Why should a GTC 1st Edition be any different in certain markets?
Let’s congratulate the new owner on his gorgeous new vehicle and not worry what he did/didn’t pay, because to him it’s worth it.
