My Latest Rocket Ship!

I am in India staying at our home in Meherabad. What do you think of my 300 rupee a day rental? Not quite up to the standards of my GTC, but the GTC would have never made it on the potholed rock strewn roads here. The entire undercarriage would have been demolished. This car has a great interior too!

I'm sure there are at least 30-40HP lurking there somewhere.

Where's my leather?

John:

I hope you made them aware of the missing door trim piece or your rental bill will be a lot higher.
You should have taken a few AMG logos over to slap on the rear. :rolf: :y

Happy Holidays

Jerry

I have really bad OCD and germaphobia. I feel really uncomfortable unless I'm in sterile, clean places with Bahaus architecture and mid century, original furniture. I would completely lose my mind in India.

If the interior and exterior is as poorly maintained as it appears to be, you really have to wonder about the brakes don’t you. I would have never driven that piece of **** off the lot. Unbelievable.

No Bish - this isn't something driven off a lot. This is rural India and you are fortunate to be able to find a villager who will loan you a car. Sure it's a beater...but there are no contracts and for $4.60 per day...it works! Brakes are a bit grabby...but we drive it only a few miles a day - and only on back roads. There isn't a real "car rental" agency for 100 miles! For us it's a lark. For others it'd be hell.

Looks like a passenger at some point discovered the peril of faulty brakes.

That gives new meaning to the term "oh **** handle". They must take things very literally over there.
