GAD GTS trapping 145.7MPH
My friend went to Yas Drag yesterday on open drag night, he had massive wheel spin and only did a 10.555 with trap speed of 236.KM or 145.7MPH
All his moods are similar to mine on my GTR Turbo upgrade, gearbox, rebuilt engine, intercoolers, exhaust and running race fuel mix.
I know many people know of the bad record Yas Drag had in the pass but it is officially NHRA certified this year, they have certified to gain there reputation. This is just for those who are not informed

Why bother? If ya want 1/4 mile time buy a civic and tune it..
I don't understand the need to take an awesome car and turn it into an unreliable money pit..
Too much money not enough brains I guess.

thanks for the tip I personally never owned a civic! Anyways anyone has the rights to spend there hard earned money the way they want, if you have an experience of running a fast civic good for you this is a Mercedes forum not a Honda! Some people love tuning there cars it’s there total rights to do so. So please don’t come to threads with “Too much money not enough brains” try to be positive it don’t hurt no one

Looking at that 60' and the trap you would think it was two different cars..lol. That's definitely making some crazy power, nice.

I always like to see enthusiasts pushing the boundaries in cars that "normally" are not pushed. dbasons55 has been doing it for years with many cars and I applaud the numbers... 145+ trap is amazing, just need more initial grip to the get into the 9's.

Dude you just dropped 6 grand on ugly stick on carbon fiber parts. You have no room to be criticizing anyone.

Always a naysayer. Ignore those guys.
Been to the dragstrip in FL heat and could not get under 2sec for my 60ft with my measly 600+ machine so if you were running street tires, that is actually not bad as I assume it's pretty hot in your neck of the woods. Please share tire set up if possible.
I applaud you guys pushing the limits and this stuff trickles back to the tuners and OEM engineers as well so keep doing it.
As a side note, some platforms are easier to modify as I have a friend that bought a 50K Hellcat, spent 6K in upgrades, pushing over 1,000 crank and ran 9.5 in 1/4. Kudos getting it done on an MB product.
