Is this normal? Transmission issue
2017 GTs....3000 miles When backing out of garage in am...I’m getting a delay in engagement from gas to movement. It’s seems like when the car starts back it’s harder that it should be. Sometimes I hear an audible noise at first engagement. Some times going into drive too....the delay.
I going to see service later this week? Any thoughts.
Best Regards

FWIW: They all do that when fairly new. It seems to go away after awhile.
Enjoy your new ride.

Mine can be a little laggy as well when cold but no noise whatsoever. 5K miles. This was before and after the Eurocharged ATX tune.

only had car 1 day went to local AMG Preformance Center at dealer...AMG service rep offered dealer tune 2800.00 add 100 hp. Plug and play software thing. I have no idea what they actually did....but I noticed the above mentioned changes post tune.
Im taking it in on Wednesday and asking them to check it out.

One aspect of a really great tune is when the car has all of the ‘driveability’ of the OEM tune, but with increased power/torque.

I only noticed this once when I parked the car outside one night and it got down to 30 degree overnight. Was a little terrified I had broken something at first.

A tune typically minimizes throttle lag moving from 'park'. I had a similar observation when trying to back out of my garage. It felt like the car was a true manual, responding to a slow clutch pedal. 'Manual feel' is probably one of the more endearing attributes of the double-clutch tranny but not always. A tune should clear that up.
