Inner Door Sill
I can already see that I am going to have an issue with the inner door sill (especially the passenger side) given that it is higher that the outer door sill. It is going to get scuffed and its going to bother me...
Any suggestions how to protect it? vinyl wrap? Has anyone done anything?

YES. When I have the car wrapped and tint the windows, I have the door sills wrapped on every new car I buy before I mess it up.

The picture was only aimed at showing the part as opposed to where exactly the scuffs are. You are probably right that the front part is more vulnerable and you are less likely to get scuffs close to the seat. Having said that, I would like to protect the entire piece in some fashion...
