Looks like it should work, only issue is that the 2019 electronics are different. Think I'll give them a call and see when or if they're planning on getting something for the 2019. Good luck on the install, maybe take some pics and notes on the install.

Absolutely agree, but there are times, like when there's on parking space left and someone behind you with their eyes on it, that you can't back in.

Some street access parking is front end only as well, even though I try my best to avoid those situations.

Here's a pic of the camera I put on my 2019 C43 Sedan. I just used a small 3.5" monitor to view it but a guy on here AUTOLIGHT MAURITIUS says he came up with a box to connect to the 2019 electronics, I think it was about $400 but I'd have to look. If you want, PM me and I'll forward his info.
As for backing in, a lot of parking here is angled and you can't back in and if you do they ticket you beside trying to do it while cars are behind you. I do back in to my home parking space, it's just easier to drive right out but the camera has saved me from messing up the lower spoiler on either curbs or parking stops.

Where did you pull the power from for the camera on the GT?

Just tapped into the positive lead to the cigarette lighter plug. I also put a small LED lighted switch on the lower side of the console so I turn it on as needed. If I forget it's not a big deal as it doesn't draw any power to speak of.

Thanks but I was more interested in the power for the camera on the front lip, I think I will use a Bluetooth camera and my cell phone so no power needed in the cabin.

Camera connects to the monitor which then connects to power and ground, no need for power at the camera. I read a lot of reviews on the BT cameras and couldn't find one that looked OK. Did see a Garmin that had some good reviews but it had to connect to a Garmin GPS only.

Same here, debating on this unit or the Joyauto carplay, give you more, but more intrusive install.

Here’s how to see the front better for free: adjust your seat as high as it will go and your mirrors appropriately. Save to seat memory.
Whenever you are parking, select that seat memory. You don’t need a front camera.

Did anyone find any new solutions for a front camera?

I'm looking at the NAVIKS, I spoke to a local installer who said they have an OEM quality solution for OEM prices $1400. And I have also reached to mb house in Canada to see if they still sell their solution for self install.

I've love carplay but there reviews I see on Joyauto is its buggy.. I did something similar on my E55 and it was buggy.

I found that company online as well. I too want to add a front carmera to my GTS. I'm thinking of buying this interface. If anyone has done this upgrade please let know how it turned out.
