CEL and Codes P0300, P0301, P0306
On the trip back from Oakland, where I picked up my '17 GTS, a couple of times I noticed that it ran a bit rough on a new tank of gas.
Once, I put in some octane booster, but I'm not sure if it helped, but I only noticed the rough running on full tanks (not every time).
Anyway, today the Check Engine Light came on, with the following codes:
P0300: Random Misfire
P0301: Misfire on Cylinder 1
P0306: Misfire on Cylilnder 6
I put in some octane boost, today, in hopes that it's the gas.
Does the warranty transfer to a second owner?

Dealer . Asap. If you are running 91 or 93 octane it's might Be fuel. Stop putting octane booster in it as well.
That being said you could get a bad tank of gas but it sounds like you ar e past that.

Always use a place that sells 'Tier 1' fuel, and it's best to get your fuel from a busy station as the gas never stays in the holding tank long enough to get contaminated.
Good luck, and as others state the dealer will sort it out for you.
BTW, it didn't have an aftermarket tune installed did it?

None that I know of. I'm sure that the PO would have told me, if it did.
Thanks, bishman.

They found nothing. They reset the codes, checked for a software update (there was none), and road-tested it.
The service advisor's theory was that I started it up and shut it off too quickly, leaving excess fuel in cylinders
1 and 6, causing the codes the next time I started it up.
It seems to be running fine, now.

Well, that didn't take long. The CEL reappeared on Saturday. It's back
at the dealer. They told me that it's the same two cylinders (1 & 6), but
they don't see anything wrong, so they're going to "open a case with Mercedes."

Ask them to recheck the Coil Packs. They can switch them if they don’t have any in stock and see if the problem follows the switch.

i'd switch them, to make sure that the problem does lie in the Coil Packs.

UPDATE: I got the car back, today. Same codes, same cylinder misfires. They did check the coil packs, first, but they were okay. They ended up changing out the fuel injectors.
Hopefully, that will be the end of this thread.
