GTR ... Finally!!!
After months of waiting and giving up on an allocation, I stumbled on a 290 mile Gtr in a color I quickly fell in love with. WOW.... what an amazing machine. I’ve been fortunate enough to have/had some amazing cars over the years but the GTR might be the best ever. It truly drives like a well sorted hot rod with a perfect rawness that’s missing in most anything from a factory. I traded in a 2014 911 turbo s and haven’t missed it yet. If anyone is on the fence about getting one .... don’t!
I’d also like to give a huge thanks to Steve and Shahul at Euro Germantown who I contacted through this forum. Although I stumbled on my own deal by stupid luck ... they had been helping me every step of the way to get me into a GTR. Always respectful and super knowledgeable about these cars and what the market looked like. Again my sincere thanks guys!

I feel the ride is ok and definitely on par with a turbo S. The difference is in excitement! Although the turbo s is wicked fast it wasn’t something I looked forward to driving.... as a treat per say. The 458, gt350r and the gtr, have that special sauce. It’s hard to pinpoint one thing but driving them is an excitement. Almost no one paid attention to the Turbo S. My friends even joked and called it my “60 year old dentist car” and that couldn’t be further from who I am. If a turbo s is in your short list ...... please please remove. Gtr .... is a straight rockstar compared to the boring turbo s. The gtr feels way more roomy then the turbo. I’m not a huge person but feel more comfortable in the gtr. Add a passenger and the gtr is a huge win..... unless you like touching shoulders with whoever your riding with lol.

In ‘C’ mode the ride is easily tolerable, unless perhaps you are driving constantly in a city with really ****ty roads. The recommended psi is 31 all round at speeds up to 155 mph (lol), but I drop that to 28 psi to help with compliance. In this way even ‘S’ Mode is fine on the street.

If you find the c63s too stiff, you will hate the GTR. It’s a comfortable daily driver. You won’t compress a vertebrae; you won’t firget how to do higher math but it is not a cushy ride.
