That looks like a plug/ patch but if you are tracking the car, I’d get it replaced. High stress may cause a blowout .

little known fact about mb dealers tire replacement (at least my dealer) The tire comes with a warranty against road hazard so if you need those replaced again you’ll pay for install only.

A year ago my dealer in Calabasas told me my GT had three screws in the front left tire and needed replacing. I asked them to patch it and they refused. So I had to buy a new tire before they would let me leave.

As it turned out, none of the screws penetrated very far into the rubber and none had broken through. So the replacement was unnecessary.

I had enough sense to ask them to let me have the old tire and came back for it in my SUV. I am saving it to put on as a spare.

Michelin states that these tyres can normally be repaired using the plug/patch method, as long as the puncture isn’t within 1” of the sidewalk area. Most dealers won’t adhere to that however, so find a reputable independent shop that works on high performance cars and have them do this sort of non-warranty type work. The only time I’d have some concerns were 1: if it was a pretty large screw/nail, and 2: I would want to ‘track’ the car on that tyre; (I wouldn’t).
