Even the A-class has them both now. When's the GT likely to get these upgrades? Also any idea on a 360deg camera? The new augmented reality navigation needs some sort of front camera....

Don’t hold your breath. Hell MB can’t even get Apple CarPlay active in 2018 GT’s, so as for the above?

2019 imo. The C and the GT share the same cluster lay out. Have you seen the cluster of the new C? That’s a no brained. The wider center screen may not fit in the existing dash of the GT but that is just a remold.

Thanks for the reply. I am considering the new Aston Martin Vantage and 2019 would be a better year to buy anyway. Initial reports a very good and it has the optional 360deg camera although runs on the older Benz software. In any case, it should be excellent.

The Vantage is always iconic and never a wrong decision. Personally, I prefer the styling on the previous gen and love the v12 manual. Here is a recent review by Shmee150, and consider he has a great garage including an AMG GTR, a P-car GT3, and a Vantage GT8 . https://www.youtube.com/attribution_...em-uploademail

I don't agree with Shmee on his criticism of the buttons .. I prefer a direct control v system. I also don't agree the that the rear looks great. I am still digesting and prefer the rear look of the previous Vantage and the current GTR/GTC.

All that said, if you get a 2019 Vantage, I will be first in line asking for a ride/drive.

I’m in the analog gauges camp. I’d personally rather see analog stuff on cars in this realm. You can add some supplemental digital stuff, but at least give me an analog tach.

well to what it seems they already facelifted the GT’s I doubt they will add a new dash until the end of the cycle. Maybe the 2019 will have car play, still don’t understand why it doesn’t come with it

I would love the digital screens if they do it ala Aston Vantage i.e keep the existing look with round bezels but have the inside be digital. I think this is the way MB did it with the C class versus the S/E class.
I hope the Black Series will have a b** A** digital customizable display

AMG GT has NOT had its facelift, as the Panamericana grill was officially a MY18 change.

Coupe and roadster will almost certainly inherit whatever the sedan has - they did tell me when.... think its '19.

2019 DOG I received from Shahul at Germantown says it's essentially the same car as a 2018. Except for I believe, some new track app for your smart phone that integrates with the car.

MY19, so 2018 produced cars.

FL should be MY20 in 2019.
