Calling on GT-R owner - LED mirror projector light
I understand it's not to everyone's liking but it seems that not all GT-R come with the light of the side mirrors projecting AMG on the ground. i personally like it, I have had 2 GTR-s at the dealership and thought I could use the VIN number to order it but I am being told both cars did not come with it so I am really puzzled. Maybe the car must sense that it is dark outside before the light for the mirror comes on???
Could someone who has them either get me the part number or probably the easier way would be to share with me their VIN number. Feel free to PM with it if that's not too much to ask. If someone does not feel comfortable with that, happy to paypal someone the money to buy the 2 parts.

lol, not 5 mins after I post, dealer finally tells me the one they have has them. I think it's because the light does not turn on during day but that's just a guess. Parts on order. I'll report back soon.

Did you check and see if you have them at the bottom of the mirror? I went out to the garage and laid down and took a pic from underneath. Also, if you look at your window sticker and have the convenience package. Included in the description is: "AMG Side Mirror Logo Projectors." Upon closer inspection if your mirror housing is smooth and doesn't have that cutout. I don't see how you could add it without getting new mirror housings that have that cutout from the factory. Then the next issue would be routing and wiring it.

Thanks for taking the time to snap a picture of yours. Yes I did check and I believe I have the same hole. My part looks different but the hole is there and the size seems to be the same. I looked at diagram as well and it appears to be a simple plug and play. Will let everyone know soon.
Thanks Alex. Seems like you are right as the parts I ordered are just LEDs. Anyway you can confirm on how to take the mirror cover out? Is it like the W204/W205 where you have to muscle it out. I will then use a hook tool to take the mirror out and have access to the 2 little screws that hold the flat bottom piece. I am also worried that the part number you mentioned is just for the cover and does not include that electrical LED box with the yellow sticker but you will let me know soon when you receive it
that would be awesome, I tried to get the BAT sign for the back to replace the merc star insignia but they drilled holes for that Bummer..... no stock on logo.....
