Of course, I am completely unbiased.
I receive compliments but interestingly how "classy" the car looks. Metallic blue is an elegant hue which compliments the curvaceous body and is less "in your face" while still providing something unique.
Blue is my favorite color, my X3 is Blue Water Metallic. Also, I find Brilliant Blue easier to maintain than Black or White.
I had my heart set on blue, until the sales guy showed me a red GTS they had on the floor. A part of me still wishes I had ordered the blue, it is stunning!
my boss just noticed I made it blue haha... he shook his head lol.. I think it'll look awesome. I think he's hoping someone customizes it outside my specs
ON that note... If anyone wants this new 2019 GTR please let me know and what you want the color and options to be.. I would continue to say I think blue would be a cool choice

I've had a GTS and a GTC - both in Brilliant Blue - but I have to say I've seen that color in other Mercedes products and I usually don't like it. I think it's gorgeous in the size and shape of the GT products - but when it gets on a larger canvas with different curves it doesn't seem to work so well.

agree that every color doesn’t work for every car. Solarbeam yellow looks great on my GTS. On a C or S class, it looks hideous. They look like NYC taxi cabs!

Ageed. On the SUVs and the big sedans it looks like too much.
