I wonder how much the airflow is impacted not that any/many of us are regularly doing mach 8 with our hair on fire in our GTR’S.

I believe the 911s suffered a similar deisgn flaw in the front air intakes with complete exposure of the radiators to road debris.

The TTs in particular, whereas the GT variants came with mesh guards as standard.

Does anyone have an idea how these are installed? Does the bumper cover have to be removed for fitment?

I’m guessing they fit neatly in front of the air filters and use the same R&R procedure and mounting assembly.

If that's factory, IMHO, I think they look cheap and like they came from a hardware store. For a GT4 since it's a track car, aesthetics may not be so important. I think an easy fix to make these look better would be to paint them black and that would certainly help.

I Emailed Zunsport who have great OEM looking grill guards in black stainless for E 63. Maybe they can make a set.
