Motor Oil?
I just purchased my first MBenz AMG GT am I crazy but I am looking at all the manuals that came with the car and I cant find where it says what motor oil these cars take?(besides make sure its aproved by MBenz)
Also I see engine break in is up to 1000 miles but does car need oil change at 1000 miles also. I see service A is at 1 year.
Before someone says use the search button I have tried but with so many different models of MB cars it gets confusing esp since i have never been a Benz guy my last 4 cars were 18 Camaro ZL1, Porsche 911, 17 BMW M4 and 16 Shelby GT350 so its been American muscle wrapped around a german sandwich anyway any help I would appreciate.

Brother, you don’t have time to search. You need to go play with your new toy!
Oil, MB’s own oil or Mobil. Look under the hood for the sticker.
you are correct there is no official recommendation for changing oil after break in. Do it if it makes you feel better.

I wish I had a lift.
So so Car going in for 2nd oil change today. My mileage is 7k.
FYI, Benz has a nationwide 130$ off any service over $250 coupon, which is my oil change cost. Must be performed by 6/15.

You need the European version of Mobil 1 0W-40.
Let the Oil life ‘computer’ tell you when to change oil and filter, although I will be getting mine done at around 2K because I’m OCD about crap like that and I’ve broken it in at the track after the first 1,000 miles.
