Help our 2019 Blue GTR order
1st off, still changeable (not much longer, being built 1st week of Sept) if someone wants to take it and change the color/config... no markups on GTR custom order
If it locks soon.. I am torn on adding the $5250 carbon fiber package one before it does... (Carbon fiber elements: Front splitter, fins in front fenders, lateral side skirt inserts, rear diffuser)
any other glaring issues you see? I don't think I want to do the $4500 burmester audio (I'm trying not to make this too much $$)
Im already at an MSRP over $187K... was a bit more than I wanted.. like CF2 for the carbon fiber rear wing. Thank for all the input guys!!! Find me a buyer

Those two items are flexible and will definitely depend on the buyer.
the carbon fiber package is for all the elements prone to rock chips. So it’s not necessary. That being said, I’m a sucker for it and matching elements on my car’s exterior .i have it and love it on my GTS.
The stereo? I have the upgraded system. Definitely worth it in my book. These cars are going to be used to cruise down the avenue. You need a good stereo.
The hard core core track guys will tell you to ditch ALL the carbon fiber elements— inside and outside. Basic stereo to keep down weight. And ditch the illuminated door trim.
So so it ultimately depends on the buyer and his usage.

Ditch all the external CF, but keep the interior CF. My GHM looks awesome with just the black exterior pieces.
Go with the $4,500 Burmester as the mild upgrade sucks IMHO. Just get the base wheels and drop the black ones; black wheels are overly done this day and age and the base wheels looks fantastic.
Boom! Done! lol

I love the CF wing which is amazing in CF2... it's why I didnt do CF1.. didnt think the rest was worth it.. don't think the $4k for the CF wing is worth it? guess I could swap that for the audio
I love the RXC wheels, black with thick silver amg lip. hmmm...

The driver never looks at the outside of the car except when parked. I agree ditch the exterior CF elements, keep the interior CF trim and get the high end Burmester audio. That's how my GTS is spec'd, I definitely appreciate the interior appointments and audio as a daily driver. YMMV.

My GTS is a daily driver as well. I love the interior appointments as well. The lack of a Carbon Fiber Crossbar used to bother me but i never notice it while driving . I’d say you can ditch that. In the GTR, it is a Gloss black as standard . Doubt you’d miss it and save $1600. The stereo you’ll miss.

I think this is the second thread where blue has been in question. Its a hit or miss color for the masses (not the current owners of a BB car LOL).... it could sit for a long long time and the price point on this car is rather high so from a sales perspective and knowing wholesale colors that move- blue is not one of them for Benz. Now PTS variants with Porsche and the Sapphire Blue has done well but this is too dark IMHO.
My 2 cents.

I think it’s a very smart looking colour and any wife will love it. So I would say it’will move quick as it’s a very nice colour though if your misses loves the colour you would just buy it to own it now. I suggest it will sell easily however I’d drop ceramic brakes as not needed and also the Cf bar it’s rip off and drop exterior carbon as the gloss black looks really good. I would also go the other black wheels with less silver exposed.
Yellow stitching is a must.

man was set on blue.. after the other thread.. so magnetitite black maybe (great under utilized color)? I do have two people asking about this car now and both want selenite lol...
I dropped the illuminated door sills to save $700, added the matte cf crossbar..
I'd love to add the yellow stitch and seatbelts, but would add $4100,, id do that and drop the burmester high end, but everyone seems to think thats a must

Sell the car, so pick it for the sale and not for your preference (you know this of course )
You are a board paying sponsor which keeps this place going so I really want you to keep the admin fees coming in which means dont build a blue..... LMFAO
