Shipping ties! I had the same situation, dumb tech that did my pre-inspection didn’t take them out, but I’m surprised you didn’t notice as I did after a couple hundred miles and the dealer that pulled them out had a good laugh. Car road stiff as hell.

Dont believe it will harm anything.

hi, thanks for reply , id never driven one of there cars before ,so was unaware how it was to drive, it was very hard indeed, and the car did 500 miles in 2 days on twisty fast roads, been informed there has been rubbing , it will get an independent check before it goes anywhere near the supplying dealership, also speed sensor problem!

Dealer should step up than and replace any worn parts. It’s just blatantly negligent

1000 miles? Yikes. Glad it got resolved before you put another 1000 miles on the odometer.

Should be fine. My 350Z Nismo way back in 2008 was like that, I picked it up with ~800 miles, drove it home and thought there had to still be the spacers in the springs. Jacked it up and pulled them all out. The original buyer traded it in after 3 weeks due to the harsh ride

On the AMG, we had one that the spacers never came out, car came back with almost 10k miles on it with a noise in the front end, and we saw marks on the struts and replaced them as preventative, but the noise wasn't from them. So I'm quite sure there was absolutely no damage done in 1k miles.
