A35 coming
if you guys and gals weren’t alreally excited about the 43 models you have the new AMG A35 coming. The US will get the sedan version with a whooping 306Hp and 295FP. Subaru better look out lol.
The question is how low can they go? Any guesses? I bet they have a 25 or 23 in the works. I’m holding out for this one.

I dont love the dilution of the AMG moniker, but I understand that they want people of all monetary classes to be able to get an AMG within reason.. even a A35 will probably cost $45k plus...which is still a decent chunk of change for some people (like me).
I prefer this to base model cars with AMG badges and body changes as "AMG line" as the 35/45/43's have some added performance to them.
Also think getting someone that would buy a golf R, Audi S3, BMW M235i and getting them started with an "entry" AMG and have them move up the line to 45's/53's and then 63's isnt a bad model.. one that BMW/Audi uses.
Just something everyone does to promote their M/S/RS/AMG/V/F etc lines

Also think getting someone that would buy a golf R, Audi S3, BMW M235i and getting them started with an "entry" AMG and have them move up the line to 45's/53's and then 63's isnt a bad model.. one that BMW/Audi uses.

Yea the A35 will be the intro to the AMG line.. 300hp plus vs the 45 which is gonna be the hand built engine (both 4 cyl Turbo maybe with eq electric boost) which will be 400hp plus (maybe?)
You need that A35 to fight the S3 Audi and M235i which honestly I try fighting with the C43 and CLA45 but both of those are too much $ vs the S3 Audi... we needed something to compete

agree with you. The S model not the RS. They should have called these none hand built engine models something else, which would have helped preserver the brand. This is old news and that ship has sailed so no need beating that horse anymore.

agree with you. The S model not the RS. They should have called these none hand built engine models something else, which would have helped preserver the brand. This is old news and that ship has sailed so no need beating that horse anymore.
