Black GTR
Saw this at my local dealer and was speaking with the service director and he mentioned this was a very limited edition GTR. Black on Black. $245,000 ( dealer mark up of course ) if anyone is interested:

Canadian pricing. My car with every option stickered around $227,000.
That black one appears not to have any CF or CC brakes. (-25,000)
So it is a lot over MSRP. Rip. ****ing. Off.

The GTR is not my thing, but according to the dealer, yes FJ whom is the largest volume Mercedes dealer in SoCal said the GTR Black edition is only 1 of 500 I believe he said and it did have full carbon package including the rear spoiler ( sorry for the bad iPhone photos ). It did not have the CCB which I was quite surprised. I got all my Mercedes from FJ and one of befits is I can get my Mercedes hand washed and interior cleaned for free, as many times I want a week so I will be being my S63 in for a wash tomorrow and get the sticker price and mark up information. As for the markup, if it’s a 1 out of 500 production cars as I was told, markup is invitable. Look at the SLS and the markup on that car and how much it’s selling in the marketplace.

That is not a special edition GTR. We’re just helping you out bro. It’s obvious you don’t know the latest on this car so don’t get so defensive. You don’t believe everything your salesman/woman tells you, do you?

So back to the dealer for a car wash and the markup on the GTR is $60,000. Looked at it closely today and the entire roof is carbon fiber. Sure it doesn’t justify the markup, but never seen a carbon roof on a GT base AMG:

Oh man.. did I mention I have a special 2019 Blue Edition GTR? Even marking it up to under MSRP.... btw the "BLUE Edition" means I'll be blue if we dont sell it as my boss told me to do grey lol..
I hate markups as an enthusiast.. I don't get involved even here with the G square 4x4, or the black editions or launch edition G63 shennenigans..

no Ccb just crazy. This has become one of the biggest problems with dealerships. To be fair they are all doing it not just MB. The only way to get around this is to try and establish a great relationship with your dealer and above the salesperson level.
