Four cars in less than two years? Did you even drive the cars or just polished the fenders?

How many miles coukd could you have racked up to formulate an opinion on any of the cars and their abilities?

ha good question!! No I’m the opposite of polishing..drove the gts 10k miles the R8 V10plus about 7k and the 458 about 3k in 5 months had a mclaren 570 in there drove it 3k didn’t care for that too much here are some pics! But I do switch cars as I get bored easily lol..but few I stick with like my manual
LP 550 amd manual 2018 gt3 are keepers..I’m hoping the GTR is a keeer lol..
hmmm for some reason it’s not letting me upload pics?

I hear ya. I get bored after getting a car but I usually stick with it for a while. YMMV

After 459 cars I do understand, but I am autistic and I need to buy things (and think about buying things) all the time, it keeps my mind occupied. Right now I am looking for a F12 and M4 gearshift car, I think I found the M4. I also design parts for cars, and write novels. I do like the GTS (I had to take out that Alcantera steering wheel and replace it with a leather one and I added carbon fiber paddles), and I'm now on Ferrari #7, so I know them well. Given the choice I cant see any reason to take a GTR over a 458, but then again I am incapable of using emotion when it comes to cars, I see them only as how I would either use them or take them apart and rebuild better. Good luck with your new car.

Were you finger happy typing 459 and an extra number squeezed in there? 45, 49, 59 or 459, all those are impressive, the last one is a little nuts but it matches your user name lol.
I see a few reasons why I would get a GTR over a 458:
-if you are going to put some miles on it and drive at least 5K a year or track the car, you are going to lose more money with the F car.
-depending on the seats in the 458, the GTR is more comfortable.
-the GTR on track is quicker and much cheaper to operate.
-a simple tune will make the GTR on the streets faster than the 458.
-you have the peace of mind of an OEM warranty.

Miss my 458 spider best car I ever owned. Great daily driver. However cant go over 10000 miles or resale takes a hit and interior/tech dated compared to GTS.

OP no need to make excuses Im same way have car ADD change every 2-3 years. Cheaper than changing wives. I have a lot of fun searching for new rides.

Gen 2 r8 and 570s are nice rides.

ha funny comments i like it!! And yes 458 is awesome but if your drive them hard etc the build quality is just not there..they don’t wear as well as a Porsche or Amg or even Lambo..Ferrari is special w sound looks maybe feel but it’s not the car u jump in to take on a road trip for a few hundred miles...I haven’t got the gtr yet but it’s a wicked car from my test drive....does a lot well and as mentioned has warranty and has a presence!!

I built the 1st RWD Gallardo on 2004, sent the specs to Lamborghini (they laughed but used my specs essentially to build theirs), and yes 459 is correct. I could have made 10 fortunes on the things I designed for cars over the years but I chose not to patent them purposely. I do not get nuances at all and speak only facts or what I have learned in my experiences with cars and other things. I am totally self educated (I did make it to the 8th grade), and I also do not understand humor, or even insults. I do tend to offend people at times because if it is impossible to ever feel offended you can easily say something that offends. So I will apologize in advance if I offend anyone, it was not meant as such. I am told I am an acquired taste. I think the perception that a Ferrari cannot take a hard driving is just in peoples minds, they can take a lot of abuse. I often see people talk about resale value if they drive a car too much. I never understood that why buy it if you are worried about using it or what it will be worth. Most people would be ill if I told them how much I have lost on cars over the years. If you even get over to ferrarichat I am Carnut over there, I have been there 15 years next month. My unusual behavior is well known over there, and I have helped many people with car buying and car issues over the years. Cars to me are merely machines, some better than others, all can be improved. I get no emotional feeling from a car, they have a purpose for me, and when that purpose is done, so is the car. Then on to the next one. Sort of like my novels I am working on my 5th, I did not publish my 4th, I just felt like writing it. Have a nice day.

Guys, ‘carnut1’ has openly shared with the group that he suffers from Autism; hence his posts and even the way they are formatted are extremely idiosyncratic.

Good to know, but hubris, bragodoccio and just plain b.s.-ing are not symptoms of Spectrum disorder.
