So, I went for an Obsidian Black G63 Edition 1

Feb/Mar build, so a tiny wait

Perfect big brother for the GT!

Obsidian will look great on that wagon. I saw the truck at Petit Lemans and they stepped up on the new/old design.

A few years ago I had an Obsidian Black 550SL which I special ordered. Terrific color! Black and sparkly at the same time. Nice pearl finish. Loved it for three years.

Yep, the interior has jumped up from something that resembled w124

Joking aside, it’s like the latest S class inside, plus circa 580hp, 4wd and it’s imposing looks..... job done, with minimal AMG GT cross pollution, so I’m happy!!

Quite the polishing job, considering the surface area, but yes, can really pop in Obsidian.

Yes, you can order Ed1 in the following colours, unless your market restricts:

polar white (149), obsidian black (197), selenite grey (992), designo diamond white bright (799), designo night black magno (056) or designo platinum magno (051)

2019 ED1 G63 is matte black with red accents and red tinted carbon fiber... and some other stuff..very reminiscent of the 2018 E63 ED1

somehow I got two.. been getting some crazy calls on em..

Mmmh, was a Feb build, which slipped to March for Exclusive Interior Plus, which then slipped to May for Ed1, as they are out of the 22" rims.

So, forced to switch out of Ed1..... I won't hear another word of MB being a "volume" manufacturer
