Bumperette removal

Hey everyone,

First time poster here. I got my 16' GTS in Selenite Grey from Park Place Dallas a few weeks ago and this forum looks to be a useful source and a great place to chat with like-minded folks!

I'm wondering if anyone has found a good looking solution to the unsightly bumperettes by the license plate. If there's no good removal, does anyone have any recommendation for a euro spec looking rear?

Any help is appreciated and I'm looking forward to some great talks on here!

Welcome.

Nola, this was Something that was discussed in the thread long ago. The bottom line is if you remove the bumperettes there are two large screw holes that have to be filled in and painted and so I don’t believe anybody Messed with it.

it will be labor intensive to remove bumperettes as there are held by 3 screws from back and u have to remove the bumper. Welcome and enjoy your new smile enhancer machine

if you have a long opening with nothing in it but a rectangular us tag, it would look funnier than stock bumpers

Agreed. If you had a European plate it would be fine. After awhile, you won't even think about or notice it anymore.
