The foot kick open comment is interesting, I have never used it since it’s as simple as holding down a button on my Keyfob or pressing the button under my dash so I never have really cared, but I think the OP is onto something with the carbon fiber blocking the signal possibly? I say this because when I purchased a carbon fiber AMG cell phone cover, I would get between 0 and 1 bar of signal. If I removed the carbon fiber one and reinstalled my old rubber one, got full signal. I could go back and forth and watch the signal strength instantly change.....go figure!

I'm sure it is the CF, nothing else changed to include position.

I wonder what that cable on the OEM diffuser is. The one that connects to the bumper. Would I get some sort of error if I don't reattach it to the new one?
