What’s the status with your GTR?
As of early last week there was no news. The track day i had at my local track in January got cancelled so now i do not need it RIGHT AWAY. I will probably also follow up next week.
Man who is getting ready to cancel their order? My GTR has been sitting in a Los Angeles warehouse for about 2 months now. No information at all as to why even though a lot have been delivered. Nothing but problems with Mercedes for me the last 4-5 years
My June ordered GTC arrived in Baltimore a couple months ago. While waiting for it I noticed the AM Vantage. Long story short, I am taking delivery of the new Vantage today! A better decision for me than the GT series. But I will keep an eye on the GT’s for the future.

The car has arrived!! Very excited. Hope everyone else received their cars! I'm so stoked to have the last version before they change up the center console...I much prefer the knobs. One thing I noticed is the exhaust is definitely tuned a bit more aggressive as there are "pop and crackles" on every startup regardless of cold or warm. Not sure how I feel about it yet as it does draw a little bit more attention.
By the way, got word MB is only producing 130 GTRs for 2019 and made about 330-350 GTRs in 2018.
It is now with the detailers for some Xpel and ceramic.

Looks amazing! Mine is in for PPF also at the moment then we can get out there and enjoy them. Struggling to keep it under 4500 revs for the first 1000 miles though. One thing I have noticed compared to the GTS I had previously is that not even going over the 4500 revs at the moment the back end is very twitchy compared to the GTS. She’s going to be hard to handle I feel

Personally I think that the rear end is very planted in the GT R, BUT the OEM SC2 tyres hate cold ambient temps so be careful if it’s below 50dF.
Second, please be sure the yellow knob on the dash is set mid way for now until you get used to the car.
Also, look at your console button for traction control and be sure it is engaged.

I like the GTR better than my GTS E1.

The traction control knob isn't doing anything until you disable the stability control on the console. The system is amazing on track, it really blew me away.
