2019 Blue GTR Finally Here!!
#26
the blue is BRILLIANT! It's too bad the MB builder website does not portray the color in a better light. I'm sure the car will be sold before the year is out.
I also like the wheels and feel they suit the GTR.

Thanks, I love looking at it, but hope it finds a good home soon.. sounded sooo mean when we pulled it into the showroom (roped off and locked btw, no random test drives to anyone here)

Beautiful car! Has the options that matter...
For some reason I just don't like those wheels with it. Maybe the base titaniums would have looked better? Or because the car sits high in front (shipping spacers?)1
Should be a great pick for anyone not liking the facelift bits!

A shameless plug, but the RXC's look good at speed.

I think this is a great looking car, and as stated by someone on the thread, it’s a new GT R with the right options. Here in SoCal, a new black GT R sold quickly (probably with a “market adjustment”) and the same dealer just sold a pre-owned 2018 green magno GT R with 5,000 miles for just under the original MSRP. I’m a sports car guy, but I saw a blue color like this on a new Honda Accord (fast-back kind of sedan) and it looked great. It seems to be gaining popularity and the GT cars are a great way to showcase it! And - wouldn’t it be nice to buy a car from a real enthusiast! Nothing worse than buying at a dealership and wondering if they got all the details right like options, order codes, delivery details, etc. Hope it sells soon.

Nice pics. Car looks awesome. You're right - like you said. You always drive with the top down. I'll bet you forgot where the switch is to put the top up - lol.

Always Great to See Photos of This Car!
Every time CA-John posts photos of his car it brightens my day. I love the spec and how the bright bits like the side skirts, door handles, badging, wheels and exhaust tips all go together so well - and I really like the color. I suspect that it gets a lot of looks and thumbs-up. Nice.

The color in the pics look almost a bit purple and I LIKE it! Awesome car. These GT R's are really great looking cars; the look all business and not over the top with some monster wing.

This was a customer build that backed out after the order locked from what I remember reading on other threads about this car. If anything, it gives a customer an edge negotiating if they really wanted the carbon bits.

If you're purpose building for the track most will skip the CCBs (not because they dont perform better but its cost prohibitive). For the street, sure, get the CCBs.

not sure how many were sold this past week (they were just released)... there are 96 total here, built or on the water or produced... only twelve more even in the pipeline (scheduled)... that could be it I think unless they do another last run .. but those last cars are being made mid Feb so doubt many after that

2019 GT R updates?
Gorgeous...thanks for the photos.
C/Net reported from the LA Auto Show last week that all the GTs were updated for 2019:
".....all AMG GTs get redesigned headlights with a new LED light signature, as well as a slightly tweaked rear diffuser. Inside, the changes are more evident, where GT models get a fully digital instrument cluster, as well as a redesigned steering wheel with more prominent side controls -- similar to what you'll find in the AMG C63. Finally, a revised center console adapts the color-display control buttons seen in the four-door AMG GT."
but the photos of your 2019 don't show those updates. Any ideas if AMG is slipstreaming those updates into production so some get them and some don't, or did C/Net flub their reporting?
