Widest wheel on the front
I'm working on getting track Forgeline's for my 2018 GTR to run Michelin slicks. The local expert wheels shop spent about an hour doing hardcore measuring. He's positive we can go 10.5" safely, and probably 11" but I can't risk the price of two Forgelines and miss my next track event.
So has anyone ran 19X11 or wider up front?
Thanks.

Borrow/Get one or a couple of low cost spacers that offset the tire to where they would be on the outside with the wider rims. How much would that be: www.willtheyfit.com. Put in current and target and the "poke" figure tells you the width of the spacer you need. Then turn the wheel and see if they rub; cheap insurance for multi-thousand dollar rims.

Yeah we tried a bunch of different spacers today, plus spent over an hour measuring everything. As described as you say we could have gone even wider than what we did (11" front, 12.5" rear) but I'm going to be tracking this car hard, so there will be elevation changes, running slicks etc, many various things that will cause the suspension to compress much harder than during any street use. check out the below pics for the tool we used to measure caliper clearance

So wheels are ordered. 19X11 fronts we had to stick with 12" in the rear as Forgeline couldn't make a 12.5" in the wheel I need.
I went with the VX1 in "Satin Black" https://forgeline.com/wheel/vx1/
Tires will be Michelin S8L slicks, sizes:
29-67-19
31-71-19
