4WS feel/issue?
When I'm moving my GTR around outside my garage and have the steering wheel locked and reversing, I get a weird feeling/bump, like the tires are rubbing. I can't tell if it's coming from the front or rear.
Is this just the 4WS doing weird stuff? Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?
Thanks

FWIW: It’s the Cup Sport tires. They don’t like the front end alignment and turning specs especially when they are cold and turning hard. I usually turn them while moving until I start to feel the scuffing and then ease off until it stops.
Regards

It’s from the front end and is called the Ackerman Effect and is normal on cars with wide, high performance tyres running certain alignment geometries. It’s more pronounced during cold weather, especially <50dF, when our tyres are more like hockey pucks, although when making very tight turns at very low speeds you can also feel it when it’s pretty warm out.

This 4WS is going to take some getting used too as well, for me it feels freaky. Hopefully while on track I won't notice it so much.

The very best drivers I've spoken to haven't been a fan of RWS on the GTR or GT3 (its the same system) but anyone below professional level seems quite happy.
Sometimes it's quite noticeable but you soon get used to it.
