I took delivery of my 2016 GT-S on January 3rd.
Of course, temps in Mass have hovered around freezing which renders the Pilot Super Sports pretty useless.
So my pretty sits in the garage on the tender waiting, patiently waiting for the next warm day for a ride.
I even toyed with swapping over the sottozeroes and rims off of the S63 just to be able to go play for a while.
So far we've had only one little storm and a few inches which has melted off long ago.
Clear dry sunny but cold days make it tougher. Those nice roads beckoning calling saying come drive me.
At least my SL500 had all season tires so I could drive on days like today but some idiot traded it for GTS
And yes the pats did win, not quite sure they have it this year but it's probably why i'm not a head coach.

I’m sure there are more ‘winter’ tyre choices available but the new ‘all season’ Michelin A/S 3 is very highly thought of over on the CorvetteForum. Great traction in wet and cold conditions compared to MPSS or SC2s. Just not sure it’s available in sizing for the GT S, but it has more high performance capabilities I believe than a Pirelli Sottozero, which is a very good winter tyre but can be a beotch to balance. An endemic issue with Pirelli in my experience.
I'll be leaving the summer tires on the GTS.
I've got the E550, GL550 and the S63 coupe, all with snow tires so I think I'll be able to "get by". After all the other AMG has more power and all wheel drive.
If I get jonses-ing really bad I can put the wheels/tires on the from S63 for a quick ride but not likely.
My car has been tucked away and sleeping for a while. I detailed it and applied coat of ceramic booster, got oil changed, hyper inflated the wheels, put it up on flatstoppers, hooked up the battery tender and wrapped the car in its decorative cover from Coverking.
