Engine noise after ignition shutoff
hi everyone, sorry if this is a basic question as I just bought my gts. After I turn off the engine even after the car is locked, I hear a fan keep from the engine bay for about 5 minutes. Is this normal? I did drive the engine a little hard before this. Thank you !

Yep normal. It's just the fans running to cool everything off before shut down. My GTS did it and so does my GTC. And, as you've noticed, it does it longer when you've been hard on the engine. The length seem proportionate to the workout the engine has had.

Funny when you take the car racing that far runs for at least 10 minutes. I was like when will it stop..........

It does seem like that. There is a long back road around where I live that I occasionally use to "test the engine and suspension." With our cars, they have finally been getting out for a good run and are thankful that they get used for their intended purpose and the long time with fans running in the garage is really just the engine saying, "thank you so much, thank you so much - I'll just sit here while I cool off and then surrender to a nice sleep."
