Setting Cars Date

Hi all. I was looking at the maintenance on my cars ASSYST and noticed the date was wrong. I looked at the clock and there is NO setting for the date. Has anyone set the date on their car?

This is all I could find - but whether it answers Katie's question is another issue :

Yea I totally got that far but never found any way to change the DATE. Weird is all I can say. You can change the date format but not the date.

Because the car's anemic internet capabilities have to ride back to Germany and back for an internet connection....I wonder if that is how it figures out the date and time. Hmmm. And you've had it to the dealer for service I believe so the date error should have been seen then and rectified. Surely the dealership can fix that....
