Loud Pop
Im a new owner of a low mileage AMG gts edition 1. Great car so far but I’ve noticed on rare occasion there will be a loud pop from the engine bay. First time I thought someone dropped something on my roof or hood. This has only happened at low speeds 2-3 times over the past few days, maybe by chance it’s when entering parking garages and once over a speed bump.
Something to take in or is this normal?

To clarify its a little more than a pop. I can feel an actual thud as well - might be tran/drivetrain related. Just happened again a few minutes ago. Feels like its almost isolated to changing to a slight incline while braking at slow speeds

That’s the dreaded suspension noise on early cars. Been so long, I believe remedy was tightening or lubing braces in engine bay. For sure is loud, I heard it on first test drive.

I had a similar thud coming out and they replaced my top engine brace, they said they have seen these issues since the SLS days. The loud sound went away but still hear some creeking when slowly trying to get on an angled driveway.
