I was quoted $3600 24/10k miles/year, $20k Cap reduction on a $203k MSRP.
Versus $2450 identical terms on a 2018 Supersports GTC with $356K MSRP.
I will gladly suffer driving a Bentley for $1150 in savings monthly.

Huge net cap plus the low residual is the double whammy as these are the two pieces that create the depreciation factor. But they are also the combo that is used against a huge money factor to determine the monthly rent charge. This car is just not remotely worth this lease payment.

Did not get that far, lost interest too quick to even ask about that.

I have no idea what MB thought they were doing when they priced these cars; the MSRP is insane, especially since it’s an E63S with a nice suit, although I can’t decide whether it actually is better looking than the car it’s based on. They have one at my local dealership that’s $174K, without CCM brakes, and there is no way in hell its worth that kind of money. And that’s reflected in the insane lease rates.

Dave, Id argue that the suit is almost cheap in nature but looks are subjective. The chassis has not yet grown on me. I hope it never does cause I dont want to waste my money further LOL.

Don’t get me wrong, Vic. If I was shopping for a 4 door sedan it would come down to the E63S or M5 Comp; I wouldn’t waste 5 minutes on the GT4 tbh.

How is your newest purchase? Enjoying it?

yes Dave very much so- just a good driver with some unique mid mph prowess (40 to 120 due to the immediate tq delivery)....I never can ever complain about mag rides either--- love it in my R8 too. But the GTS doesnt seem to soak up the bumps and undulations like the NSX or R8. Its mag ride is much more firm and brutal at times.

Here's a quick update for those who still maybe interested in a lease for a GT63.

Took delivery yesterday same day since my lemon was approved for my Porsche Panamera

I live in Orange County CA sales tax 7.75%

2020 GT63 - MSRP 169920 -
MF 00167 (800 FICO)
Residual 53% -- 89527.60
Selling price - 144291.33
Total Discount $25,628.67
12/36

0/0 drive with first payment, DMV, tire fee rolled into the adjusted cap cost (149904.05) - Base payment is 2054.89 with OC tax - 2214.14

Fletcher Jones Newport Beach CA.

DM if you guys want someone to give you a similar deal.

Dealer loss 4862.72 for profit on this car.

I've been eyeing this lease for a while and i think this is the best lease structure i've seen to date.

GT63S - 189k MSRP was only 300 more a month with 0/0 drive.

Hopefully this may help someone who might in the market to lease since the dealers are lightening up a little due to COVID 19

Best of luck

Chow

MBFS seems to finally offer an improved MF on the 20 GT models, not just on the 19's.

Congrats on your whip! Enjoy i good health and post some pics.

Thank you!

I'll post some pictures once my lowering module is in and some work done on the car.

FYI 2019's MF is current at 00137 .. this is for the GT63

Thanks,

Why do people feel the need to make ignorant statements like this? Enjoy your car choices, why the need to make up false claims to deride other people's choices?

First of all, my post was from a year ago and I was discussing pricing of the car with Vic, who I’ve known for many years as we both enjoy 4 door sedans with a lot of grunt. The GT4 is based on the new E class chassis, and since there is a large difference in pricing between the cars, the MSRP being so high is a legitimate topic for discussion. Personally I think it not worth the money and I’m not struck by the looks much either. Given the major discounts MB are offering on the car to try and move them, it seems I’m not the only one who feels that way.

This is an open forum where enthusiasts get to voice their opinions about the merits, or not, of vehicles. You don’t get to police what’s said here.

I love it.
Every time someone makes a post expressing his personal opinion about some car, not ignorant as mentioned by someone above but basically stating the obvious (OK maybe he was wrong about E-Class based, since it was using E-Class Wagon floorpan), there will be always someone jumping in with his/her panties twisted, all upset that someone dared to criticize their beloved car.
Fact is, as lovely the GT63 is, there is no denying it is severely overpriced for what it does and offers.
Slow sales and heavy discounts are only proving it.

I didn't comment on your subjective opinions, for the same reason I don't ague with someone over their favorite color. The issue here is your incorrect claim that the GT 4 door is a E63S with a different exterior design. We all know that even though the GT 4 door shares a underlying platform and in fact many parts and design cues with a E class, the chassis has been differentiated enough to give the two cars very different driving dynamics. It is therefore ignorant to distill the difference between the two cars down to appearances. The difference is substantial enough that the GT 4 door was specifically mentioned as a model to be streamlined by MB in the next few years to consolidate the array of unique chassis offerings.

It is indeed an open forum, and you can post whatever you want, including things that are not true. You can even act indignantly when your claims are challenged.

The topic was on lease deals and with the heavy discounts on the GT63 models plus discounted MF and somewhat acceptable residuals puts these cars in the same price range where E63s leased for a year ago. Definitely worth a second look if in the market.

Take it with a grain of salt but there is a very strong rumor among the MB dealers that MBUSA is coming up with some very dramatic, very aggressive lease program for the GT series to be introduced when life goes back to normal (or new normal as some predict), talking about early Fall.

There's a RED GT63 I was able to get pricing around 1900 a month with taxes included... 0/0 drive without loyalty

https://www.fjmercedes.com/inventory...7x8jb7ka001318

Its a 2019 with 30k off if anyone was interested. This is a distressed sale in which the dealer is trying to move.
