Heads up display
I'll make the unsolicited observation that not including the heads up display in the GT-S or other variants should almost be considered a criminal design offense.
It's in my '15 S63 coupe and I love it. The '16 GT-S which really needs it since you would think that is where the more spirited driving would occur doesn't.
It not like the tech wasn't available.
So far my only gripe.

MAN! I wish that the GT/s/c/r had a HUD. I really don't understand why they don't considering how wonderful it is to watch speed/rpm/gear, when driving hard, or even just cruising, and not needing to look down at the cluster. Loved having it in our rental vette the week before I picked up my GTS.

I am very used to a heads up display. On the GT it is not there. If you were to look at any heads up display UNIT you will notice its size. About half the size of a shoe box. With that said and looking at the dashboard I can totally realize why the gt does not have it. Just does not have room for the unit.

My 2016 Z06 had an awesome configurable multi-color HUD. I loved it! The tranny on the other hand was a slush box and sucked like a Hoover with a full bag.
Yeah, I wish MB would offer it as an option, their decision to leave it out makes no sense at all!
