I assume all models have a dip stick in the oil reservoir but am not sure. My 18 roadster has one.

Oil must be up to temp and the engine should be left to idle for a while, car should be on level ground then turn off engine and check oil level with in I think 30 seconds.
Cold oil will show low. If you dont allow the engine to idle it can show high due to frothing. If you leave it too long the oil (could) leak down and show low.

Once again I have done two oil changes. Followed the directions to a tee. Waited for car to reach 212 Degrees and drained oil within 3 min of shut down. Both times I was 1 qt over. So next time I do an oil change I will add 6.5 quarts..

You probably have oil left in the oil cooler and lines, if you dont drain the cooler and lines you will overfill if you go by the oil capacity of the engine.

RB You could be totally correct but then the directions in WIS dont seem to cover that issue since I run the car up to the designated temp and then drain.

FYI You won’t be able to extract oil from the reservoir with the oil cap obviously because of the dry sump. You need to either go from bottom or a skinny tube down dipstick line.

My SA told me that an oil change on the GTR has to be done from the bottom. I’m sure they are draining both the oil pan (sump), and the reservoir that way.

Yes, I was referring to a quick access to siphon only. Siphoning technique isn't the best for a complete oil change anyway as we all know.
