New to the AMG, what tips and tricks do you have for them?
Seems every time I get a new car, there are little features I don't even know about until someone who's had one before mentions them. What features do you guys used often that aren't "well know"? Things like:
* I've heard mention of hill stop assist (or however you want to word it), but haven't looked up to see how it works.
*Recently figured out it has hands free trunk, however, finding the exact spot to wave my foot under seems to be a trick.
I'm sure there are a bunch of other things I haven't discovered yet, so any input would be appreciated, thanks!

Check your tire pressires amd reduce them to the pressures set forth on the inside of the fuel filler door. Deaalers for some reason overfill the tire pressures and you get a rougher ride than necessary.
Push hard on the brake pedal at a stop for the hill assist.
Other than that it's pretty much like every other car.

It took me a few weeks to realize it as well, and a few days to figure out how to get it to activate every time. Make sure the FOB is on your person, then just a soft kicking motion under the license plate will do the trick, as long as the car is not running. If the car is running, I believe that you have to use the button on the dash. Don't hold your foot there, just slow kick and pull back.
Example at the 12 second mark:

Thanks guys, I came across the trunk thing by accident myself. It was amusing all of me and my friends kept trying to get it to work again and it wouldn't, then out of nowhere, someone would get it to work randomly.

Point the key fob at the car or car door and if you push down on the lock button and keep it pushed it will roll up the windows and close the moon roof. I'm sure its well known, just though I'd mention it...

On a roadster instead of opening/ closing the moon roof this raises and lowers the roof, (hold on lock for close and unlock for open) same as in an SL

OK I'm confused. Are well all talking about the AMG GT series? Because I wasn't able to open the trunk by kicking below it, and there is no "moon roof", it's a black sheet that has to be moved manually. I begin to think that people are just sharing general "AMG" tricks for ALL Mercedes in the wrong forum section.
