Hi folks,

Today l found a piece of soft plastic cap/plug hanging underneath the front bumper of my GTR. I pulled it out and it’s some sort of yellow cap or plug. Does anybody know what this is for? Probably need to bring the car back to the dealer to verify. Any thoughts?

Guessing your seeing a pre-assembly cap for a hose that was dropped and lost when the car was being assembled.

Thank you folks, really appreciate your replies. A friend of mine is a repairman at body shop and he came by last to have a look, he couldn’t tell what that’s for. Like you guys mentioned, it could be something left during assembly. I’ll drop by the dealer when I have time to have a chat with the service department and see if they know anything about that

It’s the flux capacitor integrator that keeps the space time continuum from folding inward OR just a doohickey used during production. My money is on doohickey because of the hey look at me color.

I went to visit the dealer couple of days ago and they said it’s just a plastic cap from the radiator packaging, nothing to worry about, someone must had dropped it during assembly.
