Quad exhaust tips?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a good solution/replacement for our cars' exhaust tips, without having to replace the whole system. Just some nice quad tips would do the trick, to perfect an otherwise perfect car.

Wait for the MY20 models to come out and then order the quad tips of your liking. Tips only. You may need an updated diffuser panel; not sure how the cutouts have changed...

Very cool. I like both of them a lot actually. The round tips might look nice on my car since it doesn't have any aero -- to compliment a more "understated" look. Now to see how they will look with the stock diffuser...

Just wondering if anyone has any new information on retrofitting the trapezoidal tips on their cars? Very interested in doing this for my 18' GTC. Thanks

Not yet but if you like to check with the dealer, you will need the two tips and the lower diffuser as the cut-out appear larger. The parts will differ with a night package.
Please share the results with the forum

I just spoke to the parts department at my local dealer. They weren't sure about the fitment however, they are gonna get to the bottom of it and let me know what they find. I will update here when I find out what the dealer comes up with.

That would be great. Hopefully just the tips can be replaced, if so - ill get that done as I like quad tips over the dual extra wide ones

So after going back and forth a couple of times with the dealer. They are still unsure about if the new 2020 parts will fit. They told me I would need to order a new plastic trim that goes along the bottom of the rear where the tips are housed as well as the tips themselves. I was quoted $800 CAD for the plastic trim and $500 CAD per side for the tips themselves. I don't think I will be moving forward with this as like I said they are unsure if everything will fit and unfortunately with these parts they are non-returnable. If someone does end up moving forward with that please update us!

The parts department of a dealer would never guarantee that the parts not made for your car will fit or even know for that matter. All they do is lookup the parts for a VIN and that they can guarantee. But that is OK. It won't be cheap from a dealer but it's a start. This is not a difficult fit question if the bumper design hasn't changed. Re, price, you can simply ask them for the part numbers and then do a search for the best price (sites like mercteil, etc.) I assume that this will be a $1000 conversion.

I traded my Merc in December for a new gt350r and I have since been the happiest man in the world. Won't ever come back to these German cars unless I am either stupid rich to where 100k = loose change or if they stop ruining them with over engineering. Got the email notification on this post and thought I'd drop in here and say that.

I LOVE my Muatang. No frills! It goes fast and sounds great, and will likely still be a car in 50 years and not a heap of scrap. Here is my vote, Mercedes. Stop ruining your sports cars. Leave the land yacht stuff for the cushy luxury models.

There are people out there who still like the visceral sports car experience.

this can be easily translated to NASCAR vs. F1.

What does this have to do with the thread? We don't care, and I'd absolutely never trade my GTS for a Mustang.

I did retrofit facelift parts, quad exhaust tips / diffuser fits on all models.

It was about ~$1300 for diffusor and ~900 for facelift tail lights. All work is easy to diy

Do you need the facelift diffuser to do the Quad tips? So the Quad tips do not fit in the pre-facelift diffuser?

I spoke with the parts department at my dealership a while ago, they said that you do need a new diffuser as the size of the hole for the tips is larger. However, I did not know you needed new taillights as mentioned above.
