Any Merc owners in Newcastle Australia?

Hi guys,

Just picked up a secondhand 2004 CLK240 in Sydney and brought it home to Newcastle. It's my first european car, usually I've had jap cars.
It has 95,000kms on it, wondering if anyone knows what a 100k service is worth on these, and what they replace?
It definitely needs new brake discs as it has severe shudder when braking at 80+ kph.
Do you know any recommended workshops to service these, that know about all the oddities of these cars (no dipstick etc?). Looking at getting some bendix or RDA discs unless there is anything special about the merc ones, apparently there is some sort of brake pad sensor that should be replaced?
Hoping this car isn't going to end up being a money pit :)

I'm not in newy but do get up there a couple of times a month. Before you replace the rotors just get them skimmed, they might not be warped just have a brake dust build up. In regards to the sensors, they don't need to be replaced until the brake light comes on as they are a wear sensor and if they haven't touched the disk yet they are fine. Try hitting the rotors with some brake dust remover and mag wheel cleaner it will save you a heap of money.
Congrats on the new purchase you will love it.

Cheers mate, ended up replacing pads, discs and sensors, oil, and filter myself for around $400. Just need to find a way to adjust the handbrake so that it does something , fix the bouncing door locks, and make the passenger wiper blade touch the windscreen properly :)
