suggestions for upgrade to mid-hi range
Any good suggestions on which speakers to upgrade to enhance the mid-upper range? I find that the sound system lacks abit in the treble on my 2005 E320. Even when I have the treble tuned up, it just doesn't sound "bright" enough.

visit a local car audio stereo shop. music sound quality is personal. and no one speaker is right. I have 1500.00 morel elate speakers in my doors. doesnt mean you do too. good luck.

I had that problem with a Bose system in an Infiniti Q45 a few years ago. Despite being told repeatedly that I could not add tweeters to the Bose system, I did - just by tapping into the door speaker connections, using a high band pass filter, and locating small dome tweeters just ahead of the front windows (on the rear view mirror mount covers). Solved the problem beautifully (Infiniti started putting tweeters in the "A" pillar the following year).
Another suggestion by the custom shop that did the installation was to put ribbon tweeters in the A/C ducts in the dash, or add them to the headliner. I used the simpler solution.
